We found this magnificent leopard toad in the yard the other day. It was obviously in a hurry to get somewhere, making great leaps one after another towards the fence. Deb and I cornered it and snagged it with one of our nets.It didn't take much to convince the Girl that this was obviously a handsome prince that has had some nefarious spell cast upon him. After a tentative peck garnered no results, I said "Come on! If you want the magic to work, you have to kiss him like you mean it!"
She did, and he didn't. Better luck next time, kiddo. Life's rough.
